Its membership includes state and local public health laboratories, environmental laboratories and others that conduct testing of public health significance. The Emergency Preparedness and Response Program at APHL is committed to enhancing public health laboratory preparedness and response to emergencies such as terrorist acts, natural disasters and pandemic diseases.”
