Department of Science and Technology (DST)
DST was established with the objective of promoting new areas of Science & Technology and to play the role of a nodal department for organising, coordinating and promoting S&T activities in the country.
Department of Biotechnology (DBT)
DBT works to promote the pace of development of biotechnology in the country through general research, R&D projects, demonstrations, and creation of infrastructural facilities. The department has made significant achievements in the growth and application of biotechnology in the broad areas of agriculture, health care, animal sciences, environment, and industry.
Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR)
DSIR promotes research in industry and institutions through motivational measures and incentives in addition to providing support and creating an enabling environment for development and utilization of new and innovative technologies.
