The Agricultural Research Service (ARS) of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is partnering with the American Biological Safety Association (ABSA) to host its first symposium, Animal Production & Protection: Challenges, Risks, and Best Practices in Baltimore, Maryland.
The focus of this first symposium will be on animal (livestock, aquaculture, and wildlife) health issues associated with agricultural research, diagnostics, and response. Featured keynote speakers – Jerry Jaax, DVM, “Agricultural Infrastructure Challenges,” and Rear Admiral Ali Khan, MD, “One Health”.
