Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) Medical Virtual Industry Day

The purpose of the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) Medical Virtual Industry Day (VID) is to:

Familiarize industry participants with the products and systems of JPEO-CBD’s medical Joint Project Management Offices (JPMOs).
Communicate high-level requirements of anticipated Requests for Proposal (RFPs)/business opportunities with intent to promote greater understanding of DoD requirements.

Our goal for this event is to provide industry sufficient information leading to more and higher quality RFP responses to facilitate the rapid delivery of medical countermeasures and capabilities to support the Warfighter.

Background

The Chemical and Biological Defense Program (CBDP) hosted its Advance Planning Briefings for Industry (APBI) 19-21 September 2012. This follow on virtual event on 15 November 12 from 0800-1800 EST allows the medical JPMOs of the JPEO-CBD to provide more detailed information not covered during the APBI on individual product development efforts that may be of interest to industry. Representatives from Chemical Biological Medical Systems (CBMS), Transformational Medical Technologies (TMT), and the Medical Countermeasures Advanced Development and Manufacturing (MCM ADM) JPMOs will provide organizational overview and individual product development effort briefings. These briefings will NOT include discussions of the MCM ADM (W911QY-11-R-0023) or OPETS (W911QY-12-R-0020) solicitations.
