The African Biological Safety Association (AfBSA) is a professional association that aims to congregate practitioners of biological safety, promote biosafety and biosecurity as a discipline through awareness and to facilitate the sharing of biosafety and biosecurity information in the African region. The association though three year old has membership of over 165 registered members drawn from over 30 countries from all regions in Africa.
The African Biological Safety Association (AfBSA) in collaboration with the International Federation of Biological safety Association (IFBSA) is organizing the 3rd Annual Biological Safety Conference, taking place from June 24th to June 30th, 2012 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
