The African Biological Safety Association (AfBSA), is a professional association that aims to congregate practitioners of biological safety, promote biosafety and biosecurity as a discipline through awareness and to facilitate the sharing of biosafety and biosecurity information in the African region. The association though three year old has membership of over 165 registered members drawn from over 30 countries from all regions in Africa.
The AfBSA in collaboration with the Egyptian Biological safety Association (EGBSA) is organizing the 2nd Annual Biological Safety Conference. It will take place from March 7 to 11, 2011 Hotel Intercontinental CityStars, Cairo.
