The upcoming International Congress is a follow-up of the conference on BioSafety and BioSecurity in 2007. This conference was organized in partnership with the Ministry of Defence and the Malaysian Government. With the recent developments in global biosafety and biosecurity such as H1N1, SARS, etc. and many countries around the world taking precautionary steps towards biomass weapon attack, there is an acute need to continue the serious and important task that was undertaken by Biosafety and Biosecurity Asia Conference 2007.
